We’re incredibly proud to announce that SCS Facility Services has been named a finalist in the 2026 Enterprise Vision Awards (EVAS) in the Family Business category, with our founder, Sarah Southworth, representing the business throughout the judging process.
Earlier this week, Sarah attended the finalist judging day, presenting the story of SCS Facility Services to the judging panel and sharing the journey that has brought us to where we are today.
For us, this recognition is about far more than reaching an awards final. It reflects nearly three decades of hard work, resilience and a commitment to delivering the highest standards for our clients.
A Business Built from the Ground Up
SCS began in 1996 when Sarah started cleaning homes to support her young family. What started as one person determined to provide a better future has grown into a multi-disciplinary facilities management business employing more than 30 people and delivering services across the North West and beyond.
From our early days carrying out domestic cleaning to delivering refurbishment projects, compliance services, grounds maintenance, specialist cleaning, pest control and property maintenance, our values have remained the same.
Quality, reliability and looking after our clients have always come first.

Looking Back While Looking Forward
Being recognised in the Family Business category feels particularly special because family remains at the heart of everything we do.
While Sarah laid the foundations of the business, today SCS Facility Services continues to grow under the day-to-day leadership of Managing Director Nathan Brennan and Operations Director Luke Brennan, alongside an experienced management team and dedicated employees who share the same values the business was built upon.
Today, we deliver a comprehensive range of facilities management and property services for housing providers, commercial organisations and public sector clients, continually investing in our people, systems and accreditations to support long-term growth.

Reaching the final of the Enterprise Vision Awards is an achievement we’re extremely proud of, but it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our fantastic team, loyal clients, trusted supply chain partners and everyone who has been part of our journey over the past 30 years.
Thank you for your continued support.
We now look forward to the awards ceremony on 2 October, where we’ll be celebrating alongside some incredible family businesses from across the UK.
